Increasingly, “smart” tools and techniques are being developed and implemented for water management and treatment.
OCWA, WaterTAP and the Southern Ontario Water Consortium co-hosted a workshop on the adoption of "smart" technology back in November. (If you missed the original story, you can read it here.) We're pleased to release the workshop outcomes report, which includes:
- “critical conditions” that must be put in place for Ontario to be a leader in the adoption of smart technologies
- fundamental drivers and opportunities that are going to necessitate a shift to "smart" or digital approaches
- sustainable infrastructure recommendations to the Federal Infrastructure Minister
