Charities at Home and Abroad

In 2012, OCWA began supporting GlobalMedic, a Canadian charity that deploys professional Canadian engineers, firefighters, police officers and paramedics around the world for disaster relief. OCWA’s support of GlobalMedic focuses on providing clean drinking water solutions to people in crisis. OCWA employees raise funds to support GlobalMedic’s international missions, and volunteer their time to assemble water purification units – simple bucket filtration systems that can supply a family of seven with clean drinking water for a year. OCWA is proud to support such a worthwhile charity and, to date, has raised over $150,000 through various fundraising events.

OCWA also supports various charities closer to home, with employees regularly volunteering and raising funds for causes within their own communities.
