OCWA President & CEO Alicia Fraser Announces Departure from Agency

OCWA’s current President & CEO, Alicia Fraser, has announced that she will be moving on from OCWA to pursue a new opportunity outside of Ontario. She will remain at OCWA until June 30, 2023.  

Alicia’s background and expertise in engineering and operations have served our clients and the Agency well throughout the years and we wish her well as she embarks on her new career.

“On behalf of the Agency, I would like to sincerely thank Alicia for her years of service and extend our best wishes to her and her family,” said Joe Pennachetti, Chair, OCWA Board of Directors.

Regarding Ms. Fraser’s replacement, Mr. Pennachetti said: “We will begin the search for a new CEO who will continue to lead OCWA in building healthy and sustainable water and wastewater systems with our community partners. Our clients can rest assured that this will be a seamless transition as we work through the CEO replacement process. OCWA will continue to deliver the high quality of service that they have come to know and expect from us.”

An announcement will be made once a new President & CEO has been finalized.
